We also have visited the campus on several occasions for a spring orientation and then the main freshman orientation event. The website is easy to navigate and inviting. And various programs are available for research during the summer! Overall, so far so good and enjoying my time!. And research opportunities are available through faculty, professors (mainly in the sciences) have positions in personal labs. The faculty are nice and for the most part approachable, and willing to help out! There is opportunities to get involved, either through organizations or work-study. Though I believe it might be because of limited resources, but that should not leave to being served chicken nuggets and fries three to four times a week. But I will say the dining hall food requires attention, the food served is often repetitive and gets bland quickly. Although the social life may be limited, I enjoy the smaller campus personally gives more of a sense of community. Sophomore: As a sophomore, my knowledge may be slightly limited, but my experience with Wellesley College has been pretty good! It's a lovely campus with beautiful older buildings, small classes, and friendly students. A select few are unlikable to all and there are many instructors that cater to different learning styles. Though, I am a bit biased because my major is in psychology and I was not able to take most of the General Education classes due to my pre-existing credits. The programs and classes are exciting and not too unbearable. The main issues are the traffic and homeless people, but I don't find it much as a problem if you plan ahead, are generally cognizant, and kind. The campus can be accessed easily and is also very walkable. I like the arty feel of the campus and university and I feel much more comfortable in this urban setting rather than the rural campuses like UVA. The main aspects that differentiate VCU from most other universities in Virginia are the urban landscape, art forward movement, and the progressiveness of the university itself. Sophomore: Virginia Commonwealth University has been an adventure as a campus and university to learn under. School festivals with magnificent decorations and fun activities, trips to the beach, a museum! There's something for every interest at Regent University, and I can't wait to attend full-time. There was student-professor interaction that allowed each of us to explore our interests, engage in discussion, and pique our interest. People learn in different ways, kinesthetically, orally, visually but most people don't comprehend things that others do. People learn in different ways, and the professors took this to a level I haven't experienced while in high school.
The sermons are powerful, and there is appropriate separation between males and females that keeps people from making mistakes and poor decisions. The professors are engaging, the classes have a good amount of students, the activities are festive and everybody enjoys them.
